How we organize around uncertainty.
Most companies separate by technology — frontend team, backend team, design team. We separate by how uncertainty is reduced. Each tribe has a distinct mission, a core question, and a way of thinking that optimizes for a different kind of problem.
Find your tribe →The information pipeline
Each tribe hands off progressively more refined knowledge — from raw uncertainty to lasting impact.
If no one understands the user, Echo does.
Atlas understands systems. Not software — businesses, markets, customers, competition, economics.
Delta changes reality. Engineers. Designers. Builders. They don't debate. They produce.
Delta builds quickly. Forge ensures they can still build in two years.
Everything measurable. Analytics. Experiments. A/B testing. ML. Predictions.
Deployment. Operations. Customer success. Support. Forward deployment.
Internal knowledge. Documentation. Processes. Learning. Onboarding.
R&D. Crazy ideas. No deadlines. No roadmap.

The tribes
Echo
If no one understands the user, Echo does.
Echo turns noise into signal. Through user interviews, field observations, analytics, session recordings, telemetry, and Jobs-to-be-Done research, they surface the problems worth solving. Every product at Tribar starts with an Echo insight.
Sigma
Security. Privacy. Compliance. Threat modeling. Infrastructure hardening.
Sigma is the security tribe — embedded across all other tribes rather than siloed. They threat-model every feature, harden infrastructure, manage compliance, and ensure that Tribar's products are safe by design, not by audit.
Beacon
External communication. Brand. Content. Developer relations. Recruiting. Community. Open source.
Beacon owns Tribar's external voice. Brand, content, developer relations, open source, community, recruiting — everything that makes Tribar visible in the world. They ensure that the remarkable work happening inside the company has an impact outside it.
Atlas
Atlas understands systems. Not software — businesses, markets, customers, competition, economics.
Atlas owns the strategic context. Pricing, competitive intelligence, business models, roadmaps, and market research. They ensure the company builds the right things — not just the first things that occur to us.
Delta
Delta changes reality. Engineers. Designers. Builders. They don't debate. They produce.
Delta is the engine room. Flutter, backend, AI, infrastructure, firmware — Delta ships. They take validated insights from Echo, strategic context from Atlas, and turn them into working products. Delta's entire identity is organized around cycle time.
Forge
Delta builds quickly. Forge ensures they can still build in two years.
Forge abstracts patterns into platforms. Libraries, frameworks, CI/CD, design systems, developer experience — Forge creates leverage so Delta doesn't solve the same problem twice. They are the "build once, use everywhere" force.
Pulse
Everything measurable. Analytics. Experiments. A/B testing. ML. Predictions.
Pulse is the empirical conscience of Tribar. They design experiments, measure outcomes, build models, and ensure every decision is grounded in data. They turn "I think" into "we know." Pulse measures across three layers: intrapersonal (individual feelings, habits, margin), interpersonal (team dynamics, collaboration quality), and collective (system-wide health, market position).
Orbit
Deployment. Operations. Customer success. Support. Forward deployment.
Orbit doesn't file tickets — they deploy, operate, and ensure adoption. Like Palantir's Forward Deployed Engineers, Orbit embeds with clients to bridge the gap between shipped software and actual value. They don't just keep the lights on — they make sure the lights illuminate something.
Thread
Internal knowledge. Documentation. Processes. Learning. Onboarding.
Thread ensures that knowledge doesn't leave when people do. Documentation, process design, learning & development, onboarding — Thread weaves individual expertise into organizational capability. They are the reason Tribar gets smarter over time.
Horizon
R&D. Crazy ideas. No deadlines. No roadmap.
Horizon is Tribar's license to explore. No quarterly targets, no stakeholder demos, no "when will this ship?" pressure. They work on problems that are too early for a JIRA ticket. Most Horizon projects go nowhere. The ones that don't redefine what the company does.
Vault
Vault runs the business so the pipeline can run the product.
Vault is the foundation beneath the pipeline. Budgets, hiring, legal, procurement, vendor selection, contracts, payroll, forecasting, capacity planning — the unglamorous work that keeps the organization running. Vault operates beneath all other tribes: it doesn't follow the information-flow pipeline because it's not transforming uncertainty — it's running the business.
How you contribute
Instead of seniority levels, we define operating modes. These apply across every tribe — they describe how you contribute, not just what you do.
Finds unknowns. Discovers new territory — new users, markets, technologies, threats.
Turns ideas into products. The core production engine.
Makes things efficient. Reduces waste, improves performance, eliminates bottlenecks.
Protects quality and standards. The "no" that prevents disaster.
Accelerates others. Builds tooling, documentation, and leverage for the whole organization.
Creates new directions. Sees the future and guides others toward it.
Trust, not tenure
We don't have junior / mid / senior. We have clearance levels. Promotion isn't about years served — it's about being “trusted with larger decisions”.
How information flows between tribes
Every tribe has explicit relationships — what they feed to whom, what they receive, and where they collaborate. These are the edges that make the graph work.
